Laura Wilford, M.S., R.D.

Laura Wilford has over 30 years of experience as a registered dietitian, 25 of those with Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. She currently is Director of Wisconsin Dairy Council, a position that includes spearheading school nutrition education for the Wisconsin dairy industry.
Another key responsibility for Laura is that of media spokesperson throughout Wisconsin. She has extensive knowledge of children's nutrition issues, prevention of childhood obesity, weight control, school foodservice nutrition and dairy products' contribution to a nutrient-rich diet.
As the mother of two, Laura understands the issues of working mothers and applies the same strategies when cooking for her family and making nutrition recommendations to parents and children.
She holds a bachelor and master's degree in nutrition and dietetics from Northern Illinois University.
