Janet Grubbs, SFNS
Southeast United Dairy Industry Association
Janet Grubbs serves as the Manager of Communication and Nutrition Programs for the Southeast Dairy Association (SUDIA). She has been with the organization for over seven years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in human foods and nutrition from Virginia Tech and is credentialed as a School Foodservice Nutrition Specialist (SFNS) with the School Nutrition Association. She has worked in various nutrition positions in the past 24 years including school foodservice, geriatric long term care and nutrition education.
At the Dairy Association Janet is responsible for managing and directing the communications and nutrition programs for the SUDIA program staff. She has previously worked as a program coordinator in Virginia and North Carolina. She was one of the founding members of the Virginia Action for Healthy Kids team and served on the advisory board. In addition, she served as a New Look of School Milk national resource team member for the National Dairy Council. She has served as regional media communicator and conducted in numerous television, radio and newspaper interviews in Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland.
