Kathy Belcher, M.A.
Southeast United Dairy Industry Association
Kathy Belcher has served as a Program Coordinator for the Southeast Dairy Association for 18 years, where she develops and conducts nutrition education programs for educators, health professionals and consumer leaders. She serves as a regional media communicator and has appeared on hundreds of television and radio interview shows and news segments in Kentucky, southern Indiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia. Kathy is also active in Kentucky's Action For Healthy Kids state team.
Prior to coming to work for the Dairy Association, Kathy taught home economics for six years in New Albany, Indiana and served as a 4-H Assistant for the Jefferson County, Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service.
Kathy received a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics education from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts degree in education with emphasis in nutrition from the University of Louisville. She is an active member of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
