Katherine Hoffmann, M.S., R.D.
Maine Dairy & Nutrition Council
Katherine (Katie) Hoffmann is a nutrition education consultant for the Maine Dairy and Nutrition Council, where she is responsible for the development and execution of nutrition communications and medical outreach programs throughout Maine.
In her current role, Katie has completed numerous print, TV and radio interviews on nutrition-related topics such as children's health, winning weight-loss strategies, eating on-the-go and the importance of a balanced diet.
A registered dietitian with over 10 years of experience, Katie believes strongly in communicating nutrition and health messages to the public. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of professional associations such as the American Dietetic Association, Maine Dietetic Association, Society for Nutrition Education and Maine Nutrition Council. In 1996, she received Maine's Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award.
