Carolyn Suerth Hudson Midwest Dairy Council
Carolyn Suerth Hudson is a Consumer Communications Program Manager for the Midwest Dairy Council, where she conducts TV, radio and print media interviews and is a liaison to health professionals across Minnesota. A graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, she completed her dietetic internship at Toronto General Hospital. Carolyn has more than 20 years of experience as a dietitian in both the US and Canada.
Previous to joining Midwest Dairy Council, Carolyn was an independent nutrition consultant specializing in nutrient analysis. She conducted nutrient analysis for athletes competing in the 1988 Winter Olympics and also for many well known magazines. She has been a food service director at small private institutions and at multi-site teaching hospitals. She served as the dietitian spokeswoman for a health care facility during the world's first identified E. coli outbreak. Carolyn handled training, accreditation and quality assurance for 65 Registered Dietitians.
A member of the Minnesota Dietetic Association and American Dietetic Association, Carolyn previously served on the board of directors for Dietitians of Canada and held office in the Ontario Dietetic Association. She has chaired conferences and the committee for Dietetic Registration, and was instrumental in obtaining registration status for the Ontario Dietitians.
