Jennifer Meyers, R.D., L.M.N.T.
ADA/DC Nebraska
Jennifer Meyer is the Program Director of Nutrition Education for the Dairy Council of Nebraska. Jennifer is a registered dietitian and a licensed medical nutrition therapist. She started with the Dairy Council in September of 2003 and has previous experience working with eating disorders, weight management and diabetes. Jennifer is a member of the American Dietetic Association and serves on the board of her local and state dietetic associations.
Amy Schmid, M.A., R.D., C.D.E.
ADA/DC Nebraska
Amy Schmid is the Program Director for Nutrition Communications for the Dairy Council of Nebraska. She leads the comprehensive food and nutrition communications plan that reaches across all of Nebraska.
A registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, Amy has been with the Dairy Council for 15 years. In her current position, Amy has completed more than 200 television, radio and print interviews on nutrition-related issues such as diabetes, children's health, and weight management. She is committed to providing the public with accurate and realistic health tips.
Amy is a member of national and local associations for both nutrition and diabetes, and in 1989 received the Young Dietitian of the Year Award.
