Char Heer, L.R.D.
Midwest Dairy Association
Char Heer is the Consumer Communications Manager with the Midwest Dairy Council, where she is responsible for TV, radio and print media interviews with both national media and with media in the major markets of North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. In her current role, Heer has completed more than 150 media interviews. She also has conducted more than 200 presentations to health professionals, educators and school food service personal on nutrition-related topics such as children's health, bone health, functional foods and the importance of dairy in a balanced diet. As a licensed registered dietitian, Char Heer is committed to communicating science-based nutrition and health messages to the public. She is active in the Bismarck/Mandan Dietetic Association, ND Dietetic Association and the ND Nutrition Council. Char is the mother of two boys, ages 12 and 16.
