Laura Wilford, M.S., R.D.
Wisconsin Dairy Council
Laura Wilford has over 20 years of experience as a registered dietitian, 15 of those with Dairy Council of Wisconsin. She currently is vice president of marketing, a position that includes spearheading DCW's school nutrition marketing efforts.
Another key responsibility for Laura is that of media spokesperson throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois. She has extensive knowledge of children's nutrition issues, weight control, school foodservice nutrition and calcium's role in the prevention of osteoporosis.
As the mother of two, Kevin, 11, and Megan, 9, Laura understands the issues of working mothers and applies the same strategies when cooking for her family.
She holds a bachelor and master's degree in dietetics from Northern Illinois University.
