Judy Barbe, M.S., R.D.
Western Dairy Council
Judy Barbe is a registered dietitian and has worked with Western Dairy Council, a nonprofit nutrition and health resource organization, since 1992. As a nutrition educator, she believes that great tasting, healthy foods can enhance quality of life.
She holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in food science and human nutrition from the University of Wyoming. Prior to her nutrition career, Judy was a dental hygienist.
In her work at Dairy Council Judy regularly works with health professionals, school food service professionals, educators and the media. She has presented educational sessions to the Wyoming Dietetic Association; Montana Dietetic Association; Wyoming Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance; Wyoming Summer Institute; WIN Wyoming; Montana Public Health Association; Wyoming Association of Family and Consumer Sciences; Wyoming Community Coalition for Health Education; and numerous others.
Judy serves as the spokesperson for the Wyoming Dietetic Association. She is a columnist for the Casper Star Tribune.
Judy was the recipient of the 1995 Wyoming Outstanding Dietitian of the Year.
