	Dairy and School Wellness Federal law required all schools participating in the National School Lunch program to have local wellness policies in place by July 1, 2006. Tools for Schools

Schools are an ideal place for kids to learn and practice good nutrition. The National Dairy Council provides timely, scientifically-sound nutrition information designed specifically for teachers, parents and school foodservice professionals.

MyPyramid for Kids:
Information and resources about the child-friendly version of the new MyPyramid Food Guidance System.
Little D's Nutrition Expedition™ and Arianna's Nutrition Expedition™:
Little D's Nutrition Expedition, a 10-activity program for 2nd grade, and Arianna’s Nutrition Expedition, an eight-activity program for 4th grade, feature hands-on learning about nutrition and the value of physical activity. Both programs support MyPyramid and supplement your language arts and health curricula.
